- Negotiate with shipping Lines / Overseas Agents to get the best rates and payment terms.
- Update and maintain shipping line rates & schedules
- Managing complete door to door Air/Sea shipments from origin to delivery
- Instructing overseas partners to arrange shipments from point of origin and maintaining communication with them to ensure shipments are arranged and booked accordingly.
- Provide quotations to overseas partners and clients.
- Obtain, check & prepare documentation to meet clients requirements in order to ensure that the best solution achieved
- Arrange & review all required shipment documentation with concerned parties
- Approve bookings & schedule pickups and other supporting services
- Track, trace, & notify consignee upon arrival or shipment and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with brokers to ensure all customs clearance procedures are managed correctly on time
- Communicate and update customers on a regular basis on the status of their shipments.
- File shipment & Prepare invoices by coordinating with finance to ensure correct closure of shipment files
- Update the system & generate weekly reports tracking volumes and performance.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Excellent knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and documentation.Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, and shipping practices.
