- Adheres to the main contract and sub-contract scope of work and different parties' responsibility of executions and/or delivery.
- Participates in / identifies the area priorities for works installation according to project's constructability and construction schedule.
- Reviews and approves the contractor(s)/sub-contractor(s) quality control plan.
- Reviews and approves the project Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Collects reviews and prepares filling for all received material certificates and ensures that receiving procedures are implemented properly and Ovum, shortage and Damage (OS&D) reports, if any, are prepared and submitted to site / project managers for action.
- Administrates and certifies contractor(s)/sub-contractor(s) quality performance until getting mechanical system(s) completion certificates.
- Approves quality control reports for construction contractor(s) / sub-contractor(s).
- Reviews and approves the nonconformity reports, analyzes the root cause(s), suggests the required corrective action(s) and preventive action(s).
- Checks/signs and approves inspection form(s).
- Witnesses and approves calibration tests for tools, equipment and instruments.
- Participates in administering the site quality management auditing for contractor(s)/sub-contractor(s) and prepares the auditing report with required corrective actions.
- Participates in site review meetings.
- Reviews and administrates the marking-up as-built drawings and ensure proper filling.
- Administrates and monitors preparing of mechanical completion dossier and approves all signed-off inspection forms to ensure system readiness before handing over from construction to pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Ensures the full implementation of the Company manuals, procedures and departmental work instructions, in accordance with the requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.
- Ensures the awareness and implementation of the Quality Control programs and Quality Assurance procedures for the department activities within the framework of the overall Company Quality Management System.
- Ensures the full awareness and implementation of the applicable requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.
B.Sc. in mechanical engineering with minimum 8 years of job relevant experience including experience in either of (mechanical works/civil constructions/E &I installations QC activities) in the field of oil and gas.Considerable knowledge of mechanical works /civil constructions/E&I installations QC activities as applicable.
