Review and interpret tender documents, including technical specifications and contractual terms, to understand project requirements fully. Accurately estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment required for substation installation projects by soliciting and evaluating supplier quotations. Work alongside engineering teams to draft detailed technical proposals that address client specifications and comply with industry standards. Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies to address technical challenges, cost overruns, and timeline delays. Liaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure the proposal's feasibility and competitiveness. Ensure the bid, including technical documents, financial proposals, and required bid bonds, is accurate and submitted by the deadline. Offer support during the bid evaluation phase, respond to clarifications or negotiations as needed, and adjust proposals accordingly. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to enhance bidding strategies and project execution plans.
