* Supervises the day-to-day operations of mechanical section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
- Organize and control an efficient mechanical engineering workshop including the management of Technicians and Graded Workers.
- Participate in preparing annual Mechanical maintenance plans to make the best use of resources
- Follow up the progression and inspection process of [Installation – Repair – Fabrication] to ensure the efficient and effective performance of mechanical plant and machinery, ensuring remedial work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss (Breakdowns) of the plant and equipment
- Responsible for major installation or maintenance projects, leading the team of engineers and Technicians assigned to the task.
- .Work within the Workshop on a regular basis, to retain/update mechanical skills & knowledge. Be prepared to step and assist Mechanical Technicians in times of emergencies & undertake on the job training with Mechanical Technicians should it be required
- Achieve operational objectives by contributing mechanical engineering information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining administrative system improvements; implementing change.
- Make and follow the required Mechanical (Local/Foreign) PRs on SAP for all the machines to avoid any suddenly stop accordance
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 8-12 years relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities Prefered Experience In Packing ( Converting & Corrugating )
