- Implementing technical office policies and procedures.
- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to the consultant for approval.
- Study and prepare requests for information (RfIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
- Coordinate with Surveying Engineer to provide him with all the information about land coordinates and any site measurement required.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction for discussion and proper solve.
- Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand them over to the project consultant.
- Coordinate between the architectural and electro-mechanical sections.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering "Civil ". Minimum of 5 to 7 years of working experience; at least 4 years solid experience in Technical Office.Competent user of AutoCAD & Primavera. Revit competency is a plus - Real Estate and Construction background is required. Experience in residential compounds is a MUST. Proven experience with technical drawings and details. Technical Office related software skills are required. Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language. Ability to work and perform under pressure.Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other team members.Organized, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence.
