- Execute and follow-up periodic, preventive and predictive maintenance activities based on plans to ensure mechanical equipment and related systems are safely and efficiently operated, moreover monitor effective use of the resources to control maintenance cost.
- Follow-up all activities (completed, pending & in progress) in addition to the findings to Mechanical Section Head in order to match with company targets complying with codes and standard.
- Establish clear written Procedures and work instructions to be followed by mechanical equipment maintenance personnel during operation phase. Ensure that management of change processes is the only proper channel for terminal related modifications.
- Participate in scheduling all preventive, routine, and unplanned maintenance schedules.
- Initiate and maintain active working relationship with different contractors and vendors
- Lead and supervise the site man power staff Technicians and Foremen in all mechanical equipment Day-to-Day Activities to accomplish maintenance activities safely, timely, and efficiently.
- Lead and supervise outsource/contractors during engineering, projects execution and maintenance activities.
- Works cooperatively and effectively with other disciplines to resolve problems, and provide creative ideas aiming to enhance maintenance effectiveness and achieving optimum integration.
- Identify/Locate required resources, Spares, Tools, Man Power, and Consumables.
- Active participation in the mechanical equipment training program to the contractor (Engineers and Technicians), GIT and to enhance their capabilities and awareness of site, process and equipment
- Prepare and develop maintenance job plans for the mechanical equipment and related systems based on manufacturers manual, vendors’ document, experience and common practice in order to maintain this equipment in the optimum & efficient condition that is needed to keep in service.
- Investigate any failure related to mechanical equipment then implement repair requirement (corrective maintenance plan) based on manufacturer troubleshooting recommendation, common practice & experience in order to minimize the breakdown time & enhance durability of the equipment.
- Prepare and revise the inventory spare lists need for mechanical equipment maintenance (operational and capital spares) with the Min/Max quantities levels in addition to consumables general spares which are needed to perform different dedicated task in order to ensure items availability leads to minimum maintenance and breakdown time optimization.
- Gather, monitor and notify Mechanical Section Head, with different operating parameters to enhance maintenance performance & increase equipment reliability and availability.
- Involve in conjunction with Maintenance Planner to prepare Terminal shutdown activities and major overhaul tasks.
- To be member of the Maintenance Mechanical Team, demonstrating effective overall leadership and partnership with other peers.
Qualifications:Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Power Engineering.Field of Experience : Rotating EquipmentIndustry : oil / LNG / Gas or PetrochemicalExperience from 7 -10 years.
