- Develop detailed test plans, protocols, and procedures for farm equipment components and systems based on international testing standards.
- Define test objectives, criteria, and methodologies in collaboration with design and analysis engineers.
- Ensure test plans comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Set up and conduct tests on prototypes, including performance, durability, and reliability tests. Tests to be carried out in both laboratory and field according to the approved development plan
- Operate, maintain and calibrate regularly test equipment and instrumentation, ensuring accurate data collection.
- Monitor and document test progress, capturing critical data and observations.
- Utilizing standard methods, analyze test data to evaluate the performance and reliability of farm equipment.
- Identify issues, defects, and areas for improvement based on test results.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations summarizing test findings, analysis, and recommendations.
- Prepare technical information required for operational and maintenance manuals
- Work closely with design, analysis, and manufacturing teams to provide feedback and insights from testing.
- Participate in design review meetings, offering recommendations based on test results.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on test progress and outcomes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing engineering in farm machinery.Technical Skills:Proficiency in test planning, execution, and data analysis.Experience with testing equipment and instrumentation, including data acquisition systems.Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems in farm equipment.Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
