- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to guarantee ongoing cost reduction and process simplification.
- Set procurement plans to ensure adequate resources for all projects and improve pricing and quality of supply and delivery terms.
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure company’s best interest in all procurement activities.
- Issuing of purchase orders and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all materials are in compliance with specifications, health and safety legislation, building regulations, and environmental standards.
- Work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements, and service different sites and work requirements and needs.
- Maintain procurement files and purchase agreements to an auditable standard.
- Issuing of Purchasing reports to directors and board members.
- Forecast upcoming demand, monitor pricing trends, and report to the management team as appropriate.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering05 -10 years in the same position.Proven experience in the construction field.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Excellent Microsoft Office and ability to work using ERP system
