We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Specialist to join our team. The E-commerce Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing various aspects of our e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth and efficient online sales processes. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, inventory management, and customer service, analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional online shopping experiences.
Responsibilities:
E-commerce Platform Management:
- Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring it is user-friendly, functional, and up-to-date.
- Monitor website performance, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with IT teams to implement necessary improvements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate product listings, pricing, and availability.
Inventory and Order Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock availability, and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment.
- Manage order processing, fulfilment, and shipping to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders.
- Implement effective inventory control measures, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on stock levels and sales performance.
Digital Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, online advertising, and social media promotions.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Assist in creating and managing product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and SEO optimization.
Customer Service and Support:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints related to online orders.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring positive customer experiences throughout the purchasing process.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer feedback, provide product information, and handle returns or exchanges.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce operations, such as conversion rates, website traffic, and sales metrics.
- Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.
- Utilize analytics tools to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences, and apply findings to enhance the online shopping experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in e-commerce operations, preferably within a retail or e-commerce environment.Proficiency in inventory management systems and order fulfilment processes.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide excellent customer service.
