Role Description The Sr. Project Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Sherouk. This role oversees project cost control, planning, and scheduling activities for multiple real estate development projects to ensure delivery within budget and timeline. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating project schedules, monitoring progress, analyzing variances, and issuing regular cost and schedule reports. The engineer collaborates with project managers, site teams, and finance to validate quantities, track expenditures, forecast costs, and recommend corrective actions. The role also involves implementing project control standards, supporting risk analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement of project management practices.
Qualifications
- Strong project control capabilities, including Project Control and Analytical Skills to monitor performance and support data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated expertise in Planning & Scheduling using relevant tools and methodologies for construction or real estate projects.
- Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management to track budgets, forecast expenditures, and manage financial risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience (typically 7+ years) in project control for real estate, construction, or large-scale development projects.
- Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
