Role Description The Planning & Cost Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Sherouk. This role is responsible for preparing and updating project schedules, monitoring progress, and identifying variances against planned timelines and budgets. Daily tasks include tracking and analyzing project costs, preparing cost reports, and supporting the implementation of cost-control measures across ongoing projects. The engineer collaborates with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting, resource allocation, and adherence to budgetary targets. The role also involves evaluating project risks, recommending corrective actions, and contributing to continuous improvement in planning and cost management processes.
Qualifications

• Strong cost-focused capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management skills.
• Experience in Project Control, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Advanced Analytical Skills and proficiency in Cost Reporting for project performance evaluation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Proficiency with project planning and costing tools (e.g., MS Excel, Primavera, MS Project) and strong numerical skills.
• Knowledge of real estate or construction industry standards and project lifecycle processes.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• Previous experience in planning or cost control within construction or real estate development is highly beneficial.
