Shariah Compliance & Contracts Specialist

Shariah Audit is looking for a qualified professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess contracts to ensure compliance with Shariah principles and requirements.
• Identify potential Shariah non-compliance issues and recommend appropriate amendments.
• Review contractual terms, structures, and clauses from both legal and Shariah perspectives.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure contracts meet applicable Shariah requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of Shariah-compliant contractual frameworks and documentation.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Shariah compliance, Shariah audit, Islamic finance, or legal contract review.
• Bachelor’s degree in Shariah and Law or Commerce.
• Good understanding of Shariah principles and their application to contracts and business transactions.
• Strong analytical and contract-review skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify Shariah compliance risks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
