Role Description The Pharmacovigilance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in NASR CITY , Cairo, Egypt, responsible for ensuring the safety profile of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products marketed by VITA MIDDLE EAST PHARMA.

Daily activities include collecting, evaluating, and documenting adverse event reports from healthcare professionals, patients, and partners, and maintaining accurate safety databases. The role involves preparing safety summaries and regulatory reports, supporting risk management plans, and contributing to periodic safety update reports in line with local and international regulations. The specialist works closely with regulatory affairs, medical, and quality teams to implement pharmacovigilance procedures, support clinical trial safety oversight, and participate in training and internal audits. Collaboration with global partners to align on safety standards and continuous improvement of pharmacovigilance processes is also a key part of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy,
• Proficiency in Regulatory Requirements and Regulatory Affairs, including familiarity with local (Egypt) and international pharmacovigilance guidelines and reporting standards.
• Minimum 1 years experience in same title
• Postgraduate training or certifications in pharmacovigilance are an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in safety reporting and record keeping.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in standard office software and pharmacovigilance or safety databases; experience with quality management systems is beneficial.
