Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Procurement Engineer to join our Mechanical Procurement team, with the ability to manage procurement activities from RFQ stage through supplier selection, PO issuance, and delivery follow-up, knowledge of MEP equipment and accessories and good experience with supplier negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

·       Review BOQs, specifications, material requirements, and project documents to identify procurement requirements.

·       Collect and analyze technical and commercial quotations and complete procurement cycle.

·       Follow up on material approvals, manufacturing, inspection, delivery, and site requirements.

·       Identify alternative suppliers/materials and support cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities.

Required Technical Knowledge

The candidate should have good knowledge of MEP construction materials and equipment.

Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical Procurement.

·       Good knowledge of the local mechanical suppliers and market is preferred.

·       Good skills in Excel and MS Office.

·       Good communication and negotiation skills.

·       Strong multitasking and time-management skills.

·       ERP/SAP experience is preferred.
