-The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, design, construction, and delivery of capital projects in Egypt, including plasma donor centers, plasmapheresis academies, and offices. The role oversees the full project lifecycle, from site identification and feasibility assessment through design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and operational handover. Responsibilities include both the development of new facilities and the renovation, expansion, and improvement of existing buildings. He will serve as the primary liaison with local real estate partners, brokers, landlords, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with corporate standards and local regulations. The position requires strong project management, construction, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across multiple countries and cultures to support the organization's international expansion objectives.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams consisting of internal and external architects, engineers, consultants, operations personnel, and contractors. Ensure compliance with all applicable local regulations, building codes, health authority requirements, environmental standards, safety regulations, and corporate policies. Source, evaluate, prequalify, and manage contractors, consultants, suppliers, and vendors to meet project objectives and quality standards. Negotiate, review, and authorize project proposals, budgets, contracts, change orders, and service agreements with contractors and vendors. Develop and manage project budgets, provide CAPEX forecasts, and support Long Range Planning (LRP) activities for assigned programs and projects. Coordinate and secure all required project approvals, permits, and authorizations,Drive value engineering initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize project costs, schedules, quality, and operational efficiency. Develop, monitor, and communicate project schedules, milestones, risks, and progress updates to management and key stakeholders. Proactively resolve project-related conflicts, issues, and constraints to maintain project momentum and achieve business objectives. Manage project scope changes, mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays and control unnecessary costs. Facilitate timely decision-making by coordinating stakeholders and escalating critical issues when necessary to maintain project schedules. Develop and manage phased construction and renovation plans for projects within active operational facilities to minimize business disruption. Lead regular project meetings and ensure effective communication among internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and external partners. Coordinate with government agencies, municipalities, landlords, and regulatory authorities to obtain permits, approvals, inspections, and occupancy certifications. Review architectural and engineering designs to ensure compliance with operational requirements, regulatory standards, and corporate design guidelines. Act as the project lead responsible for the successful delivery, commissioning, and handover of new and renovated donor centers. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of the company's international expansion and facilities development strategy.
Requirements:Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in construction management, project management, facilities development, or real estate development, preferably within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or commercial environments.
