We are Hiring Quantity Surveyor (Civil/Mechanical) with previous experience in an Engineering Consultancy environment.
Office Location: Maadi Cairo
Key Responsibilities Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents. Prepare, review, and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Assist in cost estimation and budgeting throughout the project lifecycle. Review tender documents, specifications, and contract requirements. Evaluate contractor quotations and variation orders. Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports. Coordinate with the design and project management teams to ensure accurate quantity assessments. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications. Support procurement and tendering activities when required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Previous experience in an Engineering Consultant is mandatory. Revit experience is a must Strong experience in quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administration. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is preferred. Proficiency in Auto CAD and Microsoft Excel; experience with Cost X, Plan Swift, or similar QS software is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Experience Consultancy experience on residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. Experience working with international codes and standards is a plus.
