• We are looking for a strong Development Team Lead to lead our software development team and take ownership of engineering execution across multiple projects.

• This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong technical background who can effectively manage developers, plan and track projects, manage deadlines, and make sound technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software developers across multiple projects.

• Plan, organize, and track engineering work using Jira.

• Break down requirements into actionable technical tasks and ensure clear priorities.

• Work with Project Managers to plan realistic timelines, milestones, and delivery targets.

• Monitor project progress, identify blockers and risks, and take action to keep projects on schedule.

• Provide technical guidance and review proposed solutions when needed.

• Make practical technical decisions and help resolve complex engineering problems.

• Manage team workload and ensure responsibilities are clearly assigned.

• Support developer performance, growth, and accountability.

• Handle technical and team-related challenges professionally, especially under pressure.

• Ensure engineering work is delivered to the expected quality and standards.

• Continuously improve team productivity, development practices, and delivery.

• At least 1 year of proven experience leading a software development team.

• Strong professional software engineering background with technical experience beyond the typical Senior Developer level.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, version control, and modern development practices.

• Practical experience with Jira, project planning, task management, estimation, and deadline tracking.

• Experience managing multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.

• Strong technical problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage developers, delegate effectively, and hold team members accountable.

• Comfortable working under pressure and taking ownership of difficult situations.

• Strong English communication skills.
