Provide operational support for the Center of Excellence for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine

(CESC), maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities, assisting laboratory staff, and ensuring

compliance with laboratory safety standards and institutional policies.

Responsibilities :

• Core duties are listed below; additional tasks may be assigned as needed:

• Provide support for daily laboratory operations, practical sessions and workshops.

• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and consumables to ensure full laboratory operations.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations, environmental and health requirements,

• institutional policies, and standard operating procedures, including the proper handling, storage, and

  disposal of laboratory materials and waste.

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, documenting maintenance activities and repairs.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and readiness, and record laboratory inventory and

  consumable.

• Perform basic lab techniques as required.

• Coordinate inter-departmental and external paperwork flow as required.

• Collaborate with laboratory staff, administrative personnel, and university departments to support lab operations

• Perform duties related to the research lab as required.

• Maintain professional conduct, adhere to university attendance policies, prescribed dress code, and

  workplace standards, and respond positively to constructive feedback.

• Provide departmental support, including preparing and serving refreshments for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and official visitors, and assisting with other hospitality-related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Good command of Arabic; knowledge of English is preferred.

• Basic computer skills.

• 1–2 years of relevant laboratory support is preferred

• Good Communication skills, ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces, flexibility,

  good organization skills, knowledge of safety guidelines

• Ability to use computers and laboratory equipment.

• Visual, verbal, physical and auditory abilities sufficient to perform laboratory and administrative

  duties.
