We’re Hiring Site Manager – Data Center Projects
Location: GCC / Gulf Countries Experience: 15+ Years Industry: Data Center / MEP / Construction
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager – Data Center Projects to lead and manage site construction, installation, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, operational readiness, and project handover activities across Data Center projects in the GCC region.
((Key Responsibilities))
• Provide overall leadership for site construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.• Manage site teams, commissioning teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.• Ensure project delivery within budget, schedule, quality, and contractual requirements.• Act as the primary site representative toward the client, consultant, authorities, and project stakeholders.• Lead installation activities covering Electrical, Mechanical, ELV, ICT, Security, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, Fire Alarm, Fire Suppression, Controls, and Data Center Infrastructure.• Lead and coordinate Level 4 Integrated Systems Testing (IST) activities and validate Sequence of Operations (SOO).• Manage Level 5 performance testing, operational validation, load bank testing, black building tests, and emergency scenario simulations.• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, local regulations, client requirements, and international standards.• Manage punch lists, deficiencies, issue resolution, retesting, and final project closeout.• Maintain commissioning documentation, risk registers, event trackers, and progress reports.• Coordinate client witnesses, consultants, OEM representatives, and commissioning agents.• Ensure completion of turnover packages, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, training records, and final client acceptance.
Requirements
• 15+ years of overall experience in construction, MEP, commissioning, or Data Center projects.• Proven experience in Data Center projects, preferably with major international clients or contractors.• Strong experience in installation, commissioning, IST, performance testing, and operational readiness.• Strong knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems, BMS, EPMS, UPS, generators, cooling systems, fire protection, and critical infrastructure.• Proven leadership and project/site management skills.• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.• Experience working in the GCC / Middle East region.• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.• Relevant professional certifications in Project Management, HSE, or Commissioning are an advantage.
