Job Purpose

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervise the HSE Reps. & ensure that all project employees understand their individual responsibilities towards Heath, Safety, and Environmental protection according to OC’s HSE policies and procedures and adhere to them.

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer consistently all aspects of accident prevention, fire protection, first aid, and other safety policies. Ensure property, equipment, supplies and material to be used at work sites complies with OC’s HSE policies and procedures. Ensure routine HSE activities and safety controls are carried out to ensure protection of the life and health of employees and subcontractors. Ensure workers are provided with suitable protective equipment. Participate in weekly ‘Tool Box’ meeting as per plan scheduled by the HSE training unit. Assist the HSE Manager to analyse, report and investigate all all accidents and incidents and issue preliminary reports. Provide specialist advice and information on HSE to project employees or Managers as required. Participate in implementing the policies and procedures applicable to the section. Engage actively with, and use technology and equipment allocated to unit. Conduct HSE trainings and orientation to all new employees. Right/authorities to stop the work, and take the necessary action in case if he found unsafe act/ condition Perform other assignments as necessary to support the function/department Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment and environmental aspects.

Minimum Qualification & Requirements

Education/ Qualifications High Education level

Professional Certification ISO 45001/Environmental ISO 14001/ OSHA construction and general/ accident investigation/ HSE relevant technical courses.

Work Experience 5-7 years' of experience in a relevant position

Language

Good Command of English Language

Technical Writing is a plus

Computer Skills Microsoft Office, Internet Browsing
