Senior Manager, Architecture and Urban Planning | MAF Properties | Egypt Portfolio
ROLE SUMMARY
Senior Manager, Architectural Design leads the creation and delivery of architectural experiences across Majid Al Futtaim’s real estate portfolio, including luxury residential, retail, and hospitality assets. The role combines leadership with a visionary approach, balancing timeless elegance and innovation. It ensures projects uphold the highest standards of excellence, sustainability, and customer experience while guiding internal teams and consultants to enhance brand value and prestige wide.
ROLE PROFILE

• Translate luxury development visions into distinctive architectural concepts and design strategies.
• Drive design excellence, innovation, sustainability, and premium customer experiences across projects.
• Ensure all designs align with brand identity, exclusivity, and luxury market expectations.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and international consultants throughout all project phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate operational, commercial, and customer requirements.
• Oversee design reviews, quality assurance, constructability, budgets, timelines, and design integrity.
• Benchmark global trends and develop premium design standards, smart technologies, and digital tools.
• Mentor design talent, foster a high-performance culture, and deliver developments that enhance brand equity and set luxury real estate benchmarks.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10-12 years of architectural design experience, preferably in Egypt, with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred) and a visionary, innovative leadership style.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of building codes, luxury construction standards, and procurement processes.
• Expertise in spatial planning, façade design, and creating exceptional customer-centric environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement experience across complex, high-value development projects.
• Proven leadership in premium architectural design and management of multidisciplinary teams.
