About the Project We are looking for freelance participants who are Arabic speakers to support an Arabic Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) Speech Data Collection Project. Selected participants will contribute Arabic speech data that will be used for the development, training, and evaluation of AI and speech technologies. Participants will read a provided Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) script naturally in real-world environments, allowing the project to capture authentic Arabic speech along with natural ambient background sounds. This is a short-term, project-based opportunity that can be completed within one day.
Responsibilities Collect approximately 4 speech hours of Arabic MSA audio data. Read the provided Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) script naturally, clearly, and consistently. Record audio in real-world environments with natural background sounds. Capture recordings in suitable environments such as roads, traffic areas, public places, outdoor locations, and other everyday settings. Follow all recording guidelines and project instructions provided by the Loopernode Technologies team. Record and submit audio files in the required MP3 format. Follow the specified file naming and submission requirements. Upload completed recordings to the designated Google Drive. Ensure that recordings meet the required quality and project specifications. Complete the assigned collection within the agreed timeline. Requirements Arabic speaker. Ability to read and speak Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) clearly and naturally. Ability to follow detailed recording instructions accurately. Access to a suitable smartphone or recording device. Ability to record in real-world environments with natural background sounds. Basic understanding of uploading and managing audio files through Google Drive. Reliable internet connection for file submission. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project guidelines. Ability to complete the assigned recording within the specified timeframe.
