Role Description The Dentist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients within the university’s clinical facilities. Daily responsibilities include conducting dental examinations, diagnosing oral health conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing preventive and restorative procedures. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene practices, maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, and adhering to infection control and safety protocols. The Dentist collaborates with other healthcare professionals, supports clinical training activities when needed, and contributes to continuous improvement of patient care standards.
Qualifications

Demonstrated clinical competence in general dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of preventive and restorative care. Strong knowledge of dental radiography, oral pathology, periodontal care, and infection control procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and students in a diverse environment. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting and contribute to a patient-centered care model. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent recognized dental degree. Valid professional licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the relevant jurisdiction and compliance with local regulatory requirements. Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines. Experience in an academic or teaching hospital setting is an advantage, as is familiarity with community outreach or public health initiatives.
