This involves routing complex workloads through distributed systems, enforcing strict multi-tenant data boundaries, and ensuring every service endpoint meets demanding latency and reliability requirements. - API Development: Build high-concurrency async services for computation query routing, data-intensive planning workflows, and reporting — designed for performance and reliability under production load.- Database Architecture: Design and manage a multi-tenant relational schema with row-level security, tenant isolation, and optimized queries across large record volumes. Maintain type-safe data contracts between API and database layers.- Computation Integration: Route heavy computation jobs through distributed task queues. Enable efficient data sharing between the computation layer and the API. Cache results to meet strict latency requirements.- Security Implementation: Implement API rate limiting, connection pooling, role-based access control, and comprehensive input validation before data reaches the database.- Performance Ownership: Own strict response time requirements on computation endpoints under production load — profiled and monitored on every build. Essential Skills and Qualifications:- Experience: 5+ years in Saa S or data-intensive backend engineering with real analytical query complexity — not only basic data retrieval.- Database Expertise: Relational schema design, row-level security, multi-tenant isolation, and query optimization in production environments.- Async Systems: Distributed task queues, in-memory caching, and efficient data pipelines built and shipped in production — not only designed on paper.- Security Mindset: RBAC, tenant isolation, data validation, and audit logging implemented as standard, unprompted practice.- Stack: Fast API · Postgre SQL 16 · Duck DB · Apache Arrow · Redis + Celery · SQLModel + Pandera — no perfect match required.
