Job Title: Senior Procurement Engineer Sector: Elsewedy Industrial Development. Scope: Steel Fabrication Factory. Department: Procurement Dept. Job Location: Ain Sokhna Plant. Key Responsibilities:Manage the complete procurement cycle from sourcing to purchase order closure. Coordinate with production, engineering, maintenance, and logistics teams to identify procurement requirements. Source and evaluate suppliers based on technical, commercial, and quality criteria. Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, and recommend suppliers. Procure steel sheets, flat steel products, fabrication consumables, spare parts, and industrial services. Monitor steel market trends, pricing indices, and supplier performance to optimize procurement costs. Issue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery aligned with production schedules. Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and procurement reports. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contracts, and applicable regulations. Support supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives. Job Requirements:Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Language: Fluent English Speaker. Gender:Male. Computer Skills:Microsoft Office. ERP Systems (Oracle is preferred). Experience:Related Field Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within steel fabrication, metal manufacturing, or industrial environments. Preferred Skills:Procurement & strategic sourcing. Supplier evaluation and vendor management. RFQ preparation and commercial negotiations. Knowledge of steel sheet specifications and fabrication materials. Cost optimization and procurement planning. Understanding of steel commodity markets and pricing. Contract management.
