Role Description The GP Teacher at Imperial College Egypt is a full-time, on-site role based in Nasr City. The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging GP lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson materials, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student performance. The role involves creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs, using a variety of teaching methods and educational technologies. The GP Teacher will also participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development, communicate regularly with parents and guardians, and take part in school events, training sessions, and professional development activities. Qualifications Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with demonstrated ability to facilitate learning for diverse student groups. Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including designing structured, engaging, and differentiated learning activities. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and families. Experience in Training and mentoring learners, with the ability to guide, support, and motivate students to achieve academic and personal growth. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; relevant teaching qualification or certification is preferred. Previous classroom teaching experience at the appropriate grade level, ideally within an international or similar school context. Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom environment that aligns with the school’s values of diversity and inclusion. Strong organizational and classroom management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
