Responsibilities

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITI
ES
Prepares and reviews pipe stress engineering analysis for complex units such as compressor piping, fired heater piping, high and low pressure/temperature piping systems. Completes pipe stress analysis using Caesar II latest version and as per client standards. Assists Department Head in the development and updating of department standards and procedures. Provides guidance/supervision to other engineers and functioning as a mentor to less experienced engineers. Ensures design work interfaces well with that of other disciplines. Develops training material and conducts technical seminars. Acts as liaison with the other departments, specifically, Piping Design, Structural, Process Engineering and Construction. Proposes solutions to the unusual or complex proble

Provides technical guidance to co-workers and junior stress engineers. Organizes and supervises work within a small work unit composed of employees within own discipline or a related area of specialization. Determines the training and development needs of employees. Approves timesheets of the project
team.
Require
ments:
BS in Engineering and registered as a professional engineer with significant experience of 10 years. Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in pipe stress engineering on large to mega projects. Must have thorough knowledge of pipe stress engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, client procedures, and specifications. Must have, as a minimum, practical knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code, ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and 2, API design standards covering API 610, API 661, API 617, API 618, API 56
