I. Position Summary The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization(or a specific business unit/product line) to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This role requires a blend of strategicthinking, creative direction, and data-driven execution to build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and drive revenue growth. The Marketing Manager will lead a team and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
II. Key Responsibilities1. Strategy & Planning (25%)• Develop and execute comprehensive annual and quarterly marketing strategies and plans aligned with business goals.• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and inform strategy.• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish budgets to measure and optimize marketing ROI.• Manage the marketing department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and initiatives.• Present marketing plans, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.2. Campaign Management & Execution (30%)• Plan and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital (SEO/SEM, email, social media) and traditional channels.• Lead the development of compelling brand messaging, value propositions, and content strategies.• Oversee the creation of all marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality output (website, brochures, ads,case studies).• Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners (e.g., PR, creative, digital).• Implement and optimize marketing automation and CRM workflows for lead generation and nurturing.3. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation (20%)• Drive the company's digital presence, including website management, SEO/SEM strategy, and social media engagement.• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and automated drip sequences.• Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights) to track campaign performance, website traffic, and user behavior.• Own the lead generation funnel, from top-of-funnel awareness to marketing-qualified lead (MQL) handoff to sales.• Continuously test and optimize digital channels for improved conversion rates and cost-per-lead.4. Team Leadership & Collaboration (15%)• Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.• Delegate tasks, set clear objectives, and manage the workflow of direct reports.• Collaborate closely with the Sales department to ensure alignment on messaging, lead quality, and sales enablement.• Partner with Product, Customer Success, and other departments to create cohesive customer journeys and communications.• Serve as the brand guardian, ensuring all internal and external communications are on-brand.5. Analytics, Reporting & Innovation (10%)• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and marketing KPIs to stakeholders.• Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for strategy adjustment.• Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies; evaluate and recommend new approaches.• Measure and report on the ROI of marketing activities and overall contribution to the sales pipeline and revenue.• Manage the company’s marketing technology stack.
III. Qualifications & Requirements1. Education & Experience• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.• Preferred:Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or professional marketing certifications (e.g., Digital Marketing Certifications, Google Analytics).• Experience:Minimum of 5-7 years of professional marketing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or teamleadership role.• Industry Experience: Proven experience in [specific industry, e.g., Education Technology, B2B Services, etc.] is highly desirable.2.
