Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Roads Design Engineer, located in Ad-Duqqi. The role involves designing road infrastructure projects, preparing detailed construction plans, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee the implementation of design standards, and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities-Prepare and develop detailed design drawings for urban and infrastructure road projects.-Prepare technical documents, calculations, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in accordance with project stages and requirements.-Coordinate effectively with other relevant departments and disciplines.-Ensure design quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards and codes.-Support the design review and quality assurance process.-Work collaboratively and professionally within a multidisciplinary team.-Ensure proper plotting and printing of design drawings.
Qualifications-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.-Minimum of 7 years of experience in road design, preferably in urban infrastructure projects.-Full proficiency in Auto CAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office applications.-Excellent command of English (reading and writing).-Strong knowledge of design standards and procedures.
