Job Details

Role Description The Senior Project Management Engineer is responsible for leading and delivering multi-disciplinary projects from Purchase Order (PO) award through final handover and payment collection. The role involves full ownership of scope, cost, schedule, risk, and coordination across internal teams and KSA operations, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities Project Governance & Commercial Control Review, validate, and approve client Purchase Orders (POs), including scope of work, technical requirements, project budget, payment terms, and contractual risks in coordination with Finance and Legal. Ensure projects are executed in full compliance with contractual obligations, internal policies, and company approval matrix. Manage change orders, variations, and claims; evaluate cost and schedule impact and obtain required approvals. Planning & Execution Develop comprehensive project execution plans, including scope breakdown (WBS), schedules, milestones, resource allocation, and risk registers. Control and monitor project progress against baseline schedule and budget; implement corrective actions when deviations occur. Ensure proper coordination of engineering deliverables, procurement activities, production planning, and logistics schedules. Cross-Functional Leadership Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, Logistics, Finance, After-Sales, and KSA Operations. Facilitate internal project meetings and ensure alignment across all stakeholders. Act as the sole official communication channel between Egypt and KSA project teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and timely decision-making. Quality, Testing & Delivery Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in coordination with QA/QC and clients. Ensure on-time delivery, installation, commissioning, and successful Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Ensure all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and quality standards. Financial Management & Collection Monitor project cash flow, invoicing schedules, and payment milestones. Coordinate with Finance and KSA teams to ensure timely invoicing and payment collection. Support resolution of commercial disputes related to payments or variations. Reporting & Documentation Prepare and issue periodic project status reports covering schedule, cost, risks, and key issues. Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and properly archived. Project Closure & Continuous Improvement Lead project close-out activities, including final documentation, handover, and completion certificates. Conduct lessons learned sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification (highly preferred).5–8+ years of project management experience in EPC, industrial, manufacturing, or contracting environments. Demonstrated experience managing full project lifecycle from PO award to final handover and collection. Strong exposure to KSA / GCC market projects, including coordination with remote or site-based teams.
