We are looking for a proactive Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all plant operations, managing staff, optimising productivity, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient plant operations. Manage daily operations, including production scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in production efficiency and product quality. Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors and operators to achieve production targets. Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering, Quality Control, and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations. Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Prepare and analyze reports on plant performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Minimum 12 to 15 years of proven experience in manufacturing. Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations and resolve issues.
