Job Description:As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our logistics division. Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports related to logistics operations. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures that align with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance in logistics operations. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support the logistics team. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to logistics and finance. Provide mentorship and guidance to accounting staff. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.5+ years of accounting experience, specifically within the logistics or supply chain sector. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, or similar). Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
