Job Title: Finance Manager Department: Finance Location: 6th of October Experience Required: 15 Years (Food and Beverage)
Job Summary: The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the entire finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, effective cash‑flow management, and full compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role provides strategic financial insights to senior management, oversees all accounting and treasury operations, and ensures the integrity of financial data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of the General Ledger and all sub‑ledgers. Review financial disclosures, notes, and supporting schedules for audits. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax laws, and internal policies. Maintain accounting policies and procedures and update them when needed.2- Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating with all departments. Prepare rolling forecasts and financial projections. Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision‑making. Monitor cost performance and recommend cost‑optimization initiatives.3- Cash‑Flow & Treasury Oversight Oversee daily cash‑flow management and ensure liquidity for operations. Review treasury reports, bank reconciliations, and payment batches. Manage banking relationships and negotiate financial terms when needed. Ensure proper controls over payments, collections, and cash handling. Support working capital optimization through AR, AP, and inventory coordination.4- Internal Controls & Risk Management Implement and monitor internal controls across all finance processes. Ensure segregation of duties across accounting, treasury, and operations. Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Ensure audit readiness and coordinate with internal and external auditors. Review and approve accounting entries, adjustments, and provisions.
5- Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor the finance team, including Accounting, Treasury, AR, AP, and Costing. Set performance objectives and conduct periodic evaluations. Develop training plans to enhance team capabilities. Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure smooth workflow and resolve escalated operational issues. 6- Operational & Cross‑Functional Support Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales, and HR to ensure accurate financial data. Support commercial teams with pricing, margin analysis, and profitability studies. Review contracts and agreements for financial implications. Participate in strategic projects, including ERP enhancements and process automation. Provide financial guidance to senior management and department heads.
Qualifications
Education:Bachelor's Degree major in accounting. Experience:15 years of experience in cost accounting and inventory control. Experience in Food and Beverage. Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and cost accounting Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities Deep understanding of treasury, budgeting, and internal controls Experience in audit coordination and compliance management
