Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Structural Draftsman, located in Ad-Duqqi. The Structural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing and coordinating technical drawings, shop drawings, and structural plans. Daily tasks include collaborating with project teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and applying Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to create and update detailed designs.
Responsibilities:Prepare and develop structural drawings (plans, sections, and details) for reinforced concrete and steel structures. Convert conceptual and design sketches into detailed Auto CAD drawings. Coordinate with Structural Engineers and Architectural Draftsmen to ensure design consistency. Update and revise drawings according to engineers’ comments and site requirements. Ensure that all drawings comply with company standards, codes, and specifications. Assist in preparing as-built drawings and shop drawings when required. Maintain proper filing and documentation of drawings and revisions. Collaborate with other disciplines (Architectural, MEP) to avoid design conflicts. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.5+ years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in a consulting company. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit Structure is a plus. Strong knowledge of structural detailing (reinforcement, sections, foundations, slabs, beams, columns). Understanding of engineering drawings, codes, and standards. Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings. Good communication and coordination skills.
