Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical or electrical engineering and a strong understanding of procurement processes, particularly in ERP systems and export purchasing. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic procurement knowledge, with a focus on both local and international sourcing. Key Responsibilities:Manage procurement activities for mechanical and electrical components, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing. Handle export purchasing, including coordinating with international suppliers, managing shipping documentation, and complying with export regulations. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure procurement meets project timelines. Leverage ERP systems to track and manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier performance. Negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and maintain accurate records of all transactions. Monitor market trends and suppliers’ performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes. Resolve any issues related to procurement, including delivery delays, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies. Prepare regular procurement reports and provide insights on supply chain performance. Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of procurement experience, with a focus on both local and international procurement. Skills:Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software. In-depth knowledge of export purchasing, international trade regulations, and logistics. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights. Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components and their specifications. Languages: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
