Damen E-Payment is seeking an experienced POS/Mobile Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and enhancement of Android applications, with a strong focus on Android POS and mobile payment devices. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, contributing to the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java. Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to the Android development team. Participate in architecture decisions, technical planning, and design reviews. Review code to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. Drive the revamp and modernization of existing Android POS applications. Collaborate closely with backend, QA, product, and operations teams. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments. Ensure application performance, security, stability, and reliability.
Requirements:5–6 years of professional experience in Android application development. Proven experience leading or acting as a technical reference within an Android development team. Strong experience in native Android development using Kotlin and/or Java. Solid understanding of Android SDK, application lifecycle, and system architecture. Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs. Strong knowledge of MVVM / MVP / Clean Architecture patterns. Experience using Git and working with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization tools. Strong understanding of secure coding practices for mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Android POS application development. Knowledge or hands-on experience with React Native. Experience working with POS hardware integrations (printers, scanners, card readers). Familiarity with payment workflows, transaction processing, and fintech environments.
