We are hiring a Regional Sales Engineer to expand existing business, develop new opportunities, and manage key customer accounts for one of our German OEM partners in the automation and instrumentation market.
Key Responsibilities Review sales performance regularly with the Sales Manager and define actions to achieve assigned targets Drive sustainable growth by expanding existing accounts, developing new business, and mitigating potential revenue loss Identify and prioritize target accounts aligned with business and revenue objectives Build and maintain a stable, growing customer base through long-term agreements and strong stakeholder relationships Ensure effective time management to maximize high-quality customer engagement and field activity Maintain required activity levels, including customer visits, calls, and road days, in line with defined targets Develop and execute account plans, identifying key decision-makers, influencers, and growth potential Conduct customer interactions against clear objectives and adapt plans based on performance and results Maintain accurate visit reports and up-to-date customer and contact data Monitor competitor activity and provide structured market feedback to management
Who you are
Technical degree or experience in the automation industry Instrumentation knowledge is a must and PLC programming knowledge is a plus.3 to 10 years of related technical sales experience preferred Understanding of the Egyptian Market with some core knowledge in the manufacturing and automation in several industry verticals Strong verbal and written communication/ presentation (English and Arabic) skills Hands-on mentality Team Player Respectable demeanor with both external and internal parties Willingness to travel and valid driving license
