About the Role We’re hiring a hands-on technical specialist who can support our day-to-day company IT needs on-ground (devices, users, office network, printers, software, access) and also fully manage our website operations, including hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, and basic website maintenance. We’ve had repeated issues in these areas and need someone who can troubleshoot end-to-end, prevent recurring problems, and document everything clearly. What You’ll Be Responsible For A) Office / On-ground IT Support Day-to-day troubleshooting for staff (PC/Mac, software installs, updates, file issues, printer issues). Manage user access and permissions (accounts, shared folders, email access, MFA support). Support office network basics (Wi-Fi, routers/access points, connectivity issues). Onboarding/offboarding employees (setup accounts, devices, permissions, security steps). B) Company Server / Shared Files Manage and troubleshoot company server/shared storage (access permissions, availability, basic performance issues). Ensure backups are running and restore is possible (periodic test restore). Keep documentation for server access, admin accounts, and recovery procedures. C) Website + Hosting + Domains Manage website operations (updates, backups, uptime checks, basic troubleshooting). Manage hosting environment (control panels, file access, resource monitoring, renewals). Manage domains and DNS (A/CNAME/TXT/MX records, subdomains, redirects, verification records). Manage SSL/HTTPS (certificate renewals, fixing SSL errors). Handle website/email-related DNS topics (basic SPF/DKIM/DMARC understanding). D) Documentation & Prevention Create and maintain a simple internal “IT & Website Handbook”:What systems we use (domain, hosting, email, server, key tools) Who owns what, renewal dates, where credentials are stored Common fixes + escalation/vendor contacts Put monitoring/alerts in place (domain expiry, SSL expiry, uptime). Required Skills (Must Have) Proven troubleshooting ability and calm problem-solving. Real experience with domains, DNS, hosting, and SSL. Ability to explain technical topics simply to non-technical teammates. Experience supporting office IT needs (software installs, devices, permissions, basic networking). Responsible handling of access/security (MFA, least privilege, backups). Nice to Have Word Press / CMS experience and plugin/theme troubleshooting. Cloud/CDN basics (e.g., Cloudflare), basic scripting (Power Shell/Bash). Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 admin basics.
