Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and technically driven Sales Engineer – Protective Coatings to join our growing team at Novochem. This role focuses on promoting and selling our range of protective and industrial coatings to contractors, consultants, applicators, and project owners across various sectors including infrastructure, energy, and industrial facilities. Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities in the protective coatings and industrial paints market. Promote Novochem’s protective coatings products to targeted clients including contractors, applicators, consultants, and industrial asset owners. Deliver technical support and guidance on product selection, surface preparation, and application procedures. Conduct site visits and product demonstrations to ensure proper usage and performance of coatings. Prepare and present technical proposals, customized solutions, and pricing offers. Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to regional market growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders. Monitor market dynamics, including competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback. Coordinate with internal teams (technical, logistics, and customer service) to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery. Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.2–6 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in protective coatings, Industrial paints, Steel Structure Coatings, Industrial Coatings or construction chem. Good knowledge of protective coatings systems, surface preparation, and application methods (e.g. epoxy, polyurethane, fireproofing coatings). Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and travel as needed to client sites and project locations. A valid driver’s license is required; owning a car is preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a client-focused mindset.
