A gaming/ gambling firm are looking for a Senior Java Architect (Spring/Boot) who is based within the Balkan countries, in Europe (Serbia, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Bosnia etc).
This role is for a senior-level tech expert who designs and oversees complex software systems. You’ll be responsible for making sure the company’s applications are fast, reliable, and scalable while guiding other developers and teams.

*****You will demonstrate hands‑on, production experience: owning systems end‑to‑end, working on real-world architecture, code quality/clean code*****

Tech skills/ experience:Java & Spring Boot expert Experience building microservices (small, modular services that work together) Comfortable with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/Open Shift) Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, etc.) Familiar with REST APIs, g RPC, and async communication Database experience (SQL + NoSQL like Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, Redis) CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD, Tekton) Performance monitoring tools (JMeter, Prometheus, Grafana) Degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering Soft skills: Leadership, mentoring, cross-team collaboration, strong problem-solving, and excellent English.
