- Responsible for disbursing custody to the company’s truck drivers coordinator according to the company’s operational regulations.
- Reviewing the shipping documents (waybills) upon receipt from the tracking department and ensuring all required trip documents are present, adding any related expenses if necessary.
- Determining the value of transport operations according to operational regulations and trip-related expenses.
- Responsible for providing advance payments to drivers based on the destination and duration of the trip.
- Responsible for settling custody with the truck drivers and disbursing payments for waybills, overnight stays, and any other trip-related expenses.
- Collecting transport waybills daily and entering the data into the system after verifying its accuracy.
- Preparing driver settlement statements daily and printing the expense details for each driver.
- Closing the monthly accounts at the end of each month, reviewing the missing waybills from each port, and following up until they are received.
- Settling advances with the accounting department on a monthly basis
Bachelor degree of commerce.Proven work experience as Site Accountant or Custody Settlement .Proven experience in dealing with truck drivers.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to persuade people and command respect.Ability to deal with people from different backgrounds.Great time management and organizational skills.Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
