Duncan and Ross is currently hiring a Senior Utility Specialist (Dry Utility) for its client in Doha, Qatar
The staff should be able to provide engineering services required for preparing infrastructure planning concepts and master plans, all wet and dry utility corridors distribution and design, and all wet and dry utility corridors and services networks conflict resolution. The works shall be under the supervision of the client representative and as per his directions
Min. Background & Education
- Engineering Graduate preferably with a Master degree in a specific Utility
- 20+ International experience of which 10+ Qatar in major infrastructure planning and design works with site construction experience.
- Design and installation of Electrical systems
- Testing and commissioning of all electrical project equipment networks.
- Experience in working with Substations and network conceptual design network Single Line & Protection Scheme
- Focal point coordinator and decision-making between the project design consultant, project management consultant, client & other stakeholders.
- Ability to resolve technical issues during the design development.
- Review and recommend samples, Shop Drawings, Design Details, Work Procedures, Method Statements, Schedules, Programs, etc.
- Specialized in operations and maintenance of High Voltage & extra High voltage and industrial oil and gas projects
- Familiar with Qatar Transmission Grid Code
