- Provide coaching and leadership to the sales team and distributor's sales team, ensuring adherence to assigned schedules, route plans, and sales targets.
- Supervise the performance of sales representatives by reviewing daily sales and collection reports, providing feedback, and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess sales representatives' performance, address any issues, maintain strong customer relationships, and introduce new products.
- Implement an efficient order system that specifies delivery times, and coordinate with the manager on actions to be taken in case of late or partial deliveries.
- Monitor the market consistently to identify potential sales prospects and report any significant developments.
- Participate in the collection of overdue accounts from major customers.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Unit Sales Manager to review weekly sales activities, progress towards goals, and the status of prospective customers.
- Follow up on product visibility, availability, and sales percentages in key pharmacies.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations, and follow up with key decision makers.
- Meet or exceed new business sales goals.
- Full commitment to HSE requirements and to halt any work activities that are incompatible with these standards.
- Ensuring that all employees under their supervision adhere strictly to HSE instructions.
- Authority to make decisions regarding actions that may impact the environment or occupational health and safety.
