Finance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for the organization.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making and improve profitability.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and recommend actions to optimize financial performance.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets.
  • Monitor and control expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective cost-management strategies.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and address budget deviations.
  • Forecast cash flow requirements and maintain optimal cash levels to meet operational needs.
  • Manage banking relationships, including negotiating terms and conditions and optimizing banking services.
  • Ensure efficient cash collection processes and implement effective cash flow management practices.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement appropriate controls.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial market trends and economic indicators that may impact the organization's financial stability.
  • Utilize your extensive experience and knowledge to prepare accurate and comprehensive consolidated financial statements.
  • Design and implement efficient accounting systems to ensure effective management of key financial processes, including Receivables Management, Payables and Collection, Designing Costing System and Fixed Assets and payroll.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the balance sheets and profit & and loss statements for all subsidiaries within the group.
  • Take responsibility for the overall accounting and financial management requirements of the organization.
  • Review and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Banks, and actual cash balances.


Qualifications

  • Above 15 years of experience in finance and planning.
  • Experience from 5- 10 years in hospitality is a must.
  • Exposure to group accounting and consolidated financial statements.
  • CPA/ACCA credentials are a must.
  • Experience in ERP Systems, particularly SAP, is a must.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English language.
