Conduct thorough inspections at various stages of the production process, identifying and
addressing defects promptly.
● Interpret furniture drawings and specifications, ensuring designs are translated accurately
into finished products.
● Implement and maintain effective quality control programs to ensure products meet
company standards and customer specifications.
● Coordinate quality control activities, analyze data, and develop reports for management.
● Collaborate with production teams/furniture workshops to identify and address quality
issues proactively.
● Maintain accurate quality control documentation, including inspection reports and
corrective action records.
● Oversee an incoming inspection program for purchased materials and components.
● Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and quality control methodologies.
● Minimum 3 years up to 6 years of experience in a furniture manufacturing quality controlrole.● Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts (Furniture Manufacturing) or a related field.● Helwan residents or nearby areas● In-depth knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and common defects (solidwood & veneer).● Understanding of finishing processes and ability to establish acceptable color ranges.● Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies.● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).● Familiarity with CAD software (ACAD preferred) and cutting board programs.● Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlinesefficiently.● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with occasional interruptions.● Familiar with planning concepts (MRP) and production planning.
