Planning Manager – Wind

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Planning, Scheduling, of large projects, with at least 5 years in wind Projects, with 2 project fully completed.
  • Experience in the EPC side is mandatory. Experience as a developer/Owner is welcome.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Planning & Scheduling Software and tools related to project control (including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite tools).
  • To have the taste for field missions, being rigorous, methodical, and organized.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.


Technical requirements and responsibilities:

  • Detailed analysis and continuous understanding/implementation of the PPA and EPC Contracts in all related to planning and reporting;
  • Support to the BD team in terms of verification of EPC Contract appendices and different documents and tools linked to the definition of Schedule and Key dates.


Planning and schedule:

  • Together with the EPC Contractor, responsible of development of the Level 3 schedule and project control procedures, including the correct implementation of all project control tools, such as WBS, progress curves, monthly/weekly updates and reporting,…
  • Continuous monitoring of the Critical Path activities, with special attention to implementation of proper milestones and KPIs for anticipated warning to the Project Management team.
  • Ensure the proper implementation, together with the EPC Contractor, of the detailed project control tools, focusing on the preparation of the Level4 schedules and different detailed registers for proper monitoring of the weekly progress.


Reporting:

  • Review and comments to the Monthly progress report coming from the EPC Contractor, with special focus on all contractual issues that can be a risk for the Project Company or the schedule itself.
  • Related to the reporting to the Offtaker, responsibility of preparing the monthly progress report to the Offtaker and the different presentations for the monthly progress meeting.
  • Preparation of the different reporting to AcwaPower in a monthly basis.


In the event that an EOT claim is arising in the project, responsible to prepare/analyze/configure the different analysis in front of the EPC/Offtaker.
