- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support to the crew and management.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of Engine/Deck Machinery equipment.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize vessel performance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.Certification: Chief Engineer (C/E) Certificate of Competency (COC).Experience: Minimum of 3 years at sea in the capacity of Chief Engineer.Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with one the following main engines: - B&W 6S50MC -B&W 6S60MC - B&W 7S50MC_C(MK VII) -CMD-Man B&W/6S60ME - C10.5
