- Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands
- Manage daily operations of the IT department
- Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use
- Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Set up new user accounts and manage access control, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades of systems, software, and networks.
- Provide technical assistance to staff on-site, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose and resolve system, network, and software malfunctions.
- Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Manage firewall, VPN, and other network security measures.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, ensuring smooth data communication across the organization.
- Perform regular backups and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.3-5 years’ experience.IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are preferred.
