As a Talent Acquisition Section Head, you will lead our recruitment efforts, ensuring that our organization attracts, hires, and retains the best talent in the market. You will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies, leading a team of recruiters, and collaborating closely with department heads to meet staffing needs and organizational goals.
Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
Strategic Recruitment Leadership:
- Lead the development and implementation of effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company's long-term objectives.
- Partner with senior management to forecast staffing needs and create a comprehensive workforce plan.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Management and Development:
- Oversee and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Provide guidance and support to the recruitment team in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top candidates.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Lead the screening and selection process, ensuring a thorough assessment of candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
- Drive proactive talent pooling for future hiring needs, maintaining strong relationships with potential candidates.
Candidate Experience and Employer Branding:
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Champion the employer brand, representing the company at job fairs, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Collaborate with marketing and HR teams to develop and promote employer branding initiatives.
Interview Coordination and Selection:
- Oversee the interview process, ensuring timely and effective coordination between candidates and hiring managers.
- Implement robust interview techniques and assessments to evaluate candidates' competencies and alignment with company culture.
- Make data-driven decisions to select the most suitable candidates for each role.
Onboarding Management:
- Align compensation packages with candidate expectations to ensure mutual satisfaction.
- Partner with HR teams to deliver a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for new hires.
- Regularly assess and enhance the onboarding process to improve new hire retention and overall job satisfaction.
Data-Driven Recruitment Insights:
- Analyze recruitment data and metrics to assess performance, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Compliance and Recruitment Documentation:
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and documentation.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- An MBA or advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
- Strong expertise in recruitment strategies, including experience with Competency-Based Interviews (CBI) and various recruiting platforms.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SAP or other HRIS systems is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing recruitment teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
