The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Responsibilities
- Work with entire team on a creative audit to elevate innovation and establish a unified brand understanding and company voice
- Conceptualize campaign vision, harnessing original graphics, copy, website content, social media, and other marketing materials
- Develop creative briefs based on ideas from brainstorming sessions, with direction, schedules, and deliverables for the creative team
- Delegate projects to in-house designers and oversee storyboards
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Cooperate with relevant digital team to Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Search for relevant footage on the internet as needed.
- Design photo retouch and photo manipulation
- Design logos, corporate identities And short videos.
- Creating 2D Graphics & layout digital designs from scratch for all digital platforms.
- Design images, icons, banners, and printable materials
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic based on the brand
- Amend designs after feedback
- Know the principles printing and color separation
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- The motivation to maintain and improve design standards.
- Working on designs to produce an effective marketing and advertising campaign.
- Ability to think creatively, produce new ideas, concepts & layout, detail-oriented.
- Up to date with the latest design trends & technologies.
Qualifications
- Eight or more years of professional experience in graphic design, with four or more years in a management role
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud
- Exceptional ability in typography, layout, and prototyping
- Highly skilled in leading a team of creatives
- Strong creative vision with attention to business objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
- Thorough understanding of digital/traditional and Graphic art techniques.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Self-motivation, excellent communication and organization skills, team spirit, proactivity.
- Positive attitude with the ability to receive and provide objective feedback
- Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change.
- Strong updated portfolio.
